For air-conditioner manufacturing facility, HIMA^Verte has provided consulting since 2015. Service includes carbon footprint calculation, annual overall audit of energy consumption, support on reporting & improvement plans, and calculation of GHG emissions. Scope includes identification of fugitive emissions, electric motor analysis, thermal imaging to identify heat-loss, etc.

Aiming for GHG emission reduction, HIMA^Verte is helping Pakistan develop enhanced energy efficiency standards, establish appropriate testing facilities for priority appliances such as electric motors, distribution transformers to reduce GHG emissions. It is working with the National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (NEECA), Punjab Energy Efficiency and Conservation Agency (PEECA), engaging with relevant stake-holders including manufacturers.

HIMA^Verte contributed in the development of KfWplans for investment in a substantial scale-up of Solar Home Systems adoption in off-grid areas of Punjab and Sindh through microfinance providers. NEC were lead consultants for Econoclor.

Helping further the progress on Climate Change Programme for Pakistan, HIMA^Verteexperts acted as Mid-Term Evaluator of the programme, reviewed the existing UNDP work on Climate Change adaptation and mitigation, including flood mitigation strategies, such as from Glacial Lake Outburst Floods. As part of this activity helped conduct stakeholder dialogue and prepared recommendations for implementation of the UNDP GLOF-II project.

HIMA^Verte is proud of its contribution to pioneering work on Net-Metering in Pakistan during 2016 - 17. The National Assembly building installed the Solar Power system connected to the Grid. Case-study was prepared and its launch was organised for the case-study of the first Net-Metering solar solution in Pakistan by Speaker of the national Assembly.
